How to Believe with Your Heart pt 2

Pastor Creflo Dollar

  1. We must watch the words we say because our words feed our spirits (Ephesians 4:29).

    1. We have an inner ear that is directly connected to our spirits.
      1. Therefore, the words we speak (either positive or negative) deposit good or bad things in our spirits.
      2. When we speak words that are corrupt or negative, it grieves the Holy Spirit that dwells within us (Ephesians 4:30).
    2. We must write the truth of the Word of God on the tables of our hearts (Proverbs 3:3).
      1. We write the truth on our hearts by speaking the Word of God. The tongue is like the pen of a ready writer (Psalm 45:1).
      2. Therefore, saying what we believe from the Word of God produces great results.
      3. Spiritual things manifest into physical things when we speak faith-filled words (Matthew 17:20).
      4. The more time we spend in the Word, the more we starve our doubts.
      5. Through the Word, our spirits can gain the faith that our intellect cannot obtain.

  1. The more highly developed we become (in either faith or fear); the quicker we will see results.

    1. When we have peace, we are highly developed in faith. When we are stressed out and worried, we are highly developed in fear.
    2. Development in faith does not come by just repeating the Word over and over again.
      1. As we spend more and more time with the Word, we reach an advanced level of faith.
      2. God’s Word can still do everything today that Jesus did when He walked the earth. God sent His Word to heal, deliver, and provide for us; however, we must believe with our hearts that He will do what His Word says.

  1. “For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith” (Romans 4:13).

    1. Those who are born again are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.
    2. When we truly believe God’s Word, we no longer feel we need Jesus to come down from His throne to deliver us (Romans 10:6-7).
      1. Instead we understand the power of His Word.
      2. He sent His Word to heal and deliver us. His Word is able to accomplish whatever He can accomplish.
      3. Through His Word, we obtain our inheritance, deliverance, healing, provision, etc.
      4. Believing with the heart (or the spirit) means to believe apart from what is seen in the physical realm.

  1. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

    1. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is the Word in flesh form (John 1:14).
      1. Therefore, Jesus and the Word are the same.
      2. In this context, Jesus represents how the Word, which is spiritual, can manifest in the physical realm.
      3. The Word that we apply to our lives can bring forth actual, tangible results.
      4. In Gensis 1, God said, God said and God saw what He said.
      5. I Chron. 28:19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
      6. Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

         1.  follow means become or be his disciple

      1. Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,

How to Believe with Your Heart pt 1

Pastor Creflo Dollar

Intro:

Today believers need to know how to believe God like never before. I don’t know about you but I believe Jesus is coming back soon. So we do not have time to be wasting. There are things that have to be in place. I know one thing I don’t want  Jesus to come and I’m knot doing what he told  me to do. And because I didn’t do it now He has to get someone else. Because of my disobedient I have to go thro. tribulation.

See why it’s important to believe with your heart?

To believe with the heart (or spirit) means to believe apart from what the intellect and the five senses can comprehend.

Our intellect meaning our own mental ability or intelligents

Our five senses keeps us in contact with this world. In other words, our spirit man believes beyond what we can hear, see, feel, smell, and taste.

Our spirits are designed to believe the Word of God despite what circumstances indicate.

Therefore, the first step to believing with the spirit is to feed the spirit with the Word of God.

  1.  “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. (Matthew 4:4)

    1. In this scripture, Jesus was referring to the spirit of man, which is the core of who we are; our spirit lives by the Word of God.
      1. Physical food keeps the physical body alive; however, our spirit man (or inner man) cannot survive without the Word.
      2. Any area that you have a challenge in and you are not getting the victory, there is a Word insuffience.
      3. Why do I say that, the natural only can do what the spirit allows.

  1. The “heart” of man is the spirit of man. Therefore, we trust God with the heart (Proverbs 3:5-7)

    1. The physical body is designed to believe the senses. However, the spirit is designed to believe the Word of God.
      1. God and His Word are one. When we believe His Word, we believe Him.
      2. Therefore, believing with our spirit is believing beyond what the senses detect.
    2. We must decide to believe God (with our spirit) every day, even in the face of apparent defeat.

BENEFITS OF PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

BY: PASTOR CREFLO DOLLAR

1.      Benefits of praying in the Spirit:

2.      When we pray in the Spirit, we renew our strength (1 Corinthians 14:4).
a.       Praying in the Spirit helps us make spiritual progress (Jude 1:20).
b.      Earnest, heartfelt prayer draws power out of us (James 5:16, AMP).

3.      When we pray in the Spirit, we pray effectively for the unknown.
a.       The Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us when we pray in the Spirit (Romans 8:26).
b.      When we pray in the Spirit, we pray the will of God. The Holy Spirit makes everything work out for our good (Romans 8:27-28).

4.      When we pray in the Spirit, we draw from the supernatural resources within our spirits (Philippians 1:19, 20).
a.       There is supernatural wisdom on the inside of us. However, we must know how to draw it out (Proverbs 20:5; Proverbs 18:4; Proverbs 10:11).

5.      When we speak in tongues, we speak mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2).
6.      Praying in the Spirit ushers us into the supernatural realm where other gifts begin to manifest.

7.      Praying in the Spirit quickens, or gives life to, our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11).
8.      Paul spent a significant amount of time praying in the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:18).

9.      He operated in divine power; He prayed in tongues by the grace of God (1 Corinthians 15:9, 10).

10.  Jesus prayed in the Spirit before demonstrating tremendous power.
11.  He prayed in an unknown language before raising a girl from the dead (Mark 5:41).

12.  He spoke in an unknown language while on the cross (Mark 15:34, 35).
13.  Jesus spoke in an unknown language before healing a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment (Mark 7:33, 34).

HOW TO RELEASE GRACE THROUGH SPEAKING IN TONGUES

How to Release Grace through Speaking in Tongues

Author: Creflo Dollar

Summary:

Praying in tongues is a way to release the supernatural power of God. When we pray in the spirit, or pray in tongues, we speak the mysteries of God and pray the perfect will of God. It is through praying in our heavenly language that the Holy Spirit is able to make intercession for us in ways that go beyond our natural understanding.

  1. Five ways we can withdraw spiritual resources from our spirits:
    1. By renewing our minds with the Word.
    2. By using our faith.
    3. By acknowledging all the supernatural resources we have within our spirits.
    4. By praying in the Spirit.
  2. When we pray in the Spirit, our spirits are praying, but our minds are unproductive (1 Corinthians 14:14-15, AMP).
    1. The early Christians started praying in tongues when the Holy Spirit came upon them on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46).
      1. They spoke in foreign languages they didn’t know (Acts 2:6-11).
      2. Foreigners who heard these Christians praying understood their own dialects as they were spoken by the Christians, and they heard these people speak about the mighty works of God.
      3. Early Believers also received power by the laying on of hands (Acts 19:6, 7; Acts 8:18).
      4. Jesus commissioned all Believers to operate in the same power He did. This was also demonstrated by the early Believers (Mark 16:15-18).

SALVATION

PASTOR BILL WINSTON

Q:
What is salvation and why get saved?
A:
We believe in hell and eternal retribution. The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost (Revelation 19:20). Salvation is redemption from eternal damnation and restoration back to God (Mark 16:16). We believe man is a created being made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Q:
How do I get saved?
A:
We believe man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth (being born-again) is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life (II Corinthians 7:10). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was born of a virgin, was crucified, died, was buried, and on the third day He arose from the dead and ascended on high where He took His seat at the right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If you are ready and would like to be saved right now, click here and Pastor Winston will lead you in prayer!
Q:
Do I need to be baptized?
A:
We believe in water baptism by immersion, which is a direct commandment of Jesus and is for Believers only. (Acts 2:38; Acts 16:33; Matthew 28:19)
Q:
What about speaking in tongues?
A:
We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. (Acts 2:38-39)
Q:
Now that I'm saved, what's next?
A:
We believe the Bible teaches that without Holiness no man shall see the Lord. The doctrine of Sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace (Hebrews 12:14).

Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. You said in Your Word that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Father, I am calling on Jesus right now. I believe He died on the cross for my sins, that He was raised from the dead on the third day, and He's alive right now. Lord Jesus, I am asking You now, come into my heart. Live Your life in me and through me. I repent of my sins and surrender myself totally and completely to You. Heavenly Father, by faith I now confess Jesus Christ as my new Lord and Savior from this day forward, I dedicate my life to serving Him.

PRAYER FOR CHILDREN

Taken from pages 241-243 of Prayers That Avail Much Commemorative Gift Edition, © 1997 by Word Ministries, Inc.
The Children

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray and confess Your Word over my children and surround them with my faith - faith in Your Word that You watch over it to perform it! I confess and believe that my children are disciples of Christ taught of the Lord and obedient to Your will. Great is the peace and undisturbed composure of my children, because You, God, contend with that which contends with my children, and You give them safety and ease them.

Father, You will perfect that which concerns me. I commit and cast the care of my children once and for all over on you, Father. They are in Your hands, and I am positively persuaded that You are able to guard and keep that which I have committed to You. You are more than enough!

I confess that my children obey their parents in the Lord as His representatives, because this is just and right. My children honor, esteem, and value as precious their parents; for this is the first commandment with a promise: that all may be well with my children and that they may live long on the earth. I believe and confess that my children choose life and love You, Lord, obey Your voice, and cling to You; for You are their life and the length of their days. Therefore, my children are the head and not the tail, and shall be above only and not beneath. They are blessed when they come in and when they go out.
I believe and confess that You give Your angels charge over my children to accompany and defend and preserve them in all their ways. You, Lord, are their refuge and fortress. You are their glory and the lifter of their heads.

As parents, we will not provoke, irritate, or fret our children. We will not be hard on them or harass them, or cause them to become discouraged, sullen, or morose, or feel inferior and frustrated. We will not break or wound their spirits, but we will rear them tenderly in the training, discipline, counsel, and admonition of the Lord. We will train them in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.

O Lord, my Lord, how excellent (majestic and glorious) is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory on or above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger. I sing praise to Your name, O Most High. The enemy is turned back from my children in the name of Jesus! They increase in wisdom and in favor with God and man. Amen.

PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS

Taken from pages 185-189 of Effective Fervent Prayer, © 1991 by Mary Alice Isleib; ISBN 0-9629986-0-5
The Prayer of Forgiveness

Mark 11:25,26 (Amplified) – And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.

Jesus prayed the Prayer of Forgiveness. Do you remember what some of His last words were when He was on the cross? “Father, forgive them.” He was saying, “I forgive them and, Father, I ask you to forgive them and not to put this on their charge.” He was crying out that they would be released; that God would forgive them.

There is a side to the Prayer of Forgiveness that is a form of intercession; a side where we stand in the gap, that God would not remember the sin of the person who has sinned against us. That’s how much love there is in this prayer. It doesn’t have anything to do with our feelings, good or bad.
Remember, it’s a choice we make. We choose to pray the Prayer of Forgiveness, and when we believe when we pray, it works. God hears and answers this kind of prayer. He loves it!

5 Steps to the Prayer of Forgiveness
  1. You must forgive the person who has wronged you
  2. Ask God to forgive them
  3. Ask God to forgive you
  4. Release the emotion of the situation and the relationship to the Lord. Pray about the hurt and rejection and release it in the presence of the Lord. Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray.
  5. Forget it! Right there in your prayer, just forget it.

Again, this is something you have to choose to do. Many people want to remember it, think about it, talk about it, and remember it some more. No! Forget it! If you’ll do that in your prayer, the Holy Spirit will help you. This doesn’t mean the relationship is automatically going to change; you have to understand that. There may still be things that have to be dealt with, but what you’re dealing with in this prayer is your heart and keeping it clean and pure. When the Holy Spirit leads you to pray this way, do it! There’s power in this kind of prayer.

Unforgiveness is a sin. Just ask God to forgive you.
Pray, “Father, first of all, I thank you that you showed me that this attitude was in my heart. I thank You, Father, that you love me and you showed me this. Father, I ask You to forgive So-and-so for what he did and said and for how he acted, and for all the others who have been involved in this situation.

I ask in faith, out of the love of my heart, and with all the sincerity of my heart. I ask You, Father, to forgive them and, Father, I forgive them. I forgive all those words they said that hurt me. I forgive them, I ask you to forgive them, and together we let that go from their case.

And Father, I ask you to forgive me. I came into this and I thought negatively about it. I have been angry about it, and I have spoken angry words. I’ve harbored bitterness in my heart toward this, and I don’t want it to go any farther. I don’t want a root of bitterness to be in me.

Father, I ask you to forgive me. I know that I’ve said things in a wrong spirit and a wrong attitude about this person and about these people and, Father, I ask you to forgive me. I call it sin. I have sinned against you and against them. I confess it, and I thank You that when I confess my sin, you are faithful and just to forgive me and to restore me. I thank You, Father, for the purity and the cleansing of the Holy Spirit over my heart and mind and this relationship.”

Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray.
Pray, “Father, I also ask you and I thank you that you have healed me right now of those words and the hurt. I don’t want to come to you with self-pity, pride, or hardness toward you or anyone.
Father, I ask you to touch my heart. As an act of my will, I choose not to be hurt. I release the hurt, the rejection, and the emotion in this relationship. Father, I bless those who curse me.

Thank you, Father, for your power in my heart and mind that takes away hurt, rejection, and bad feelings. I receive your power now. I have it now, and I thank you for it in Jesus’ Name. The feelings, the hurt, the emotion is touched right now by the Holy Spirit. I thank you for it. I receive it in Jesus’ Name. I refuse to accept hurt, anger, isolation, frustration, or rejection.

Thank you, Father, for the freedom and the flow of the Holy Spirit touching my heart and mind right now. I take it by faith, and I’m healed in my heart, my mind, and my soul. I look to you, Holy Spirit, as my Comforter.”

Forgiving does involve forgetting. Pray in the Spirit if you want to, and then say,
“Father, now that I’ve prayed about this, I leave it here in your presence. I choose not to remember it. Holy Spirit, help me not to remember this. I leave it in your presence. It is finished. It is done. I forget it because of the blood; because of love, in Jesus’ Name.

Holy Spirit, help me to walk this out. Help me, Father, because I still have to deal with these people; but now I can deal in purity and love, and I don’t have to deal out of hurt, bitterness, unforgiveness, or hardness. I can walk in your wisdom, purity, and love and walk through this relationship victoriously, with your power.

I thank you, Father, for your help in this relationship. In Jesus’ Name, I will keep my heart right. Thank you, Father, that now I can walk in forgiveness. Let forgiveness flow from my life. I thank you for it.

Satan, I rebuke you and your hold on my life. You can’t bind me in this situation, in Jesus’ Name. I break the power of all rejection and every evil force released against me, in Jesus’ Name. Thank you, Father, for victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

God's Prescription for Divine Health Pt. 5

by Gloria Copland

Some people say faith will move mountains. But, the scriptural truth is, faith won't even move a molehill for you unless you release it with the words of your mouth.

The Lord Jesus told us that "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith," (Mark 11:23). Notice the word say appears three times in that verse while the word believe appears only once. Obviously, Jesus wanted us to know that our words are crucial.

It's also important to note that He did not instruct us to talk about the mountain, He instructed us to talk to it! If we're going to obey Him, we must talk to the mountain of sickness and cast it out of our lives. The Lord told Charles Capps, I have told My people they can have what they say, but they are saying what they have! Instead of saying, "I'm healed," most Christians say, "I'm sick," and reinforce the sickness or disease.

"But, Gloria, it bothers me to say I'm healed when my body still feels sick!"

It shouldn't. It didn't bother Abraham. He went around calling himself the Father of Nations for years even though he was as childless as could be. Why did he do it? Because "he believed...God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). He was "fully persuaded that, what [God] had promised, he was able also to perform" (verse 21).

You see, Abraham wasn't "trying" to believe God. He wasn't just mentally assenting to it. He had immersed himself in God's Word until that Word was more real to him than the things he could see. It didn't matter to him that he was 100 years old. It didn't matter to him that Sarah was far past the age of childbearing and that she had been barren all her life. All that mattered to him was what God said, because he knew His Word was true.

If you don't have that kind of faith for healing right now, then stay in the Word until you get it! After all, "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Read, study, meditate, listen to tapes, watch videos of good, faith-filled teaching, and watch our weekly and daily television broadcast EVERY DAY until God's Word about healing is more real to you than the symptoms in your body. Keep on keeping on until, like Abraham, you stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief, but grow strong in faith as you give praise and glory to God (Romans 4:20, The Amplified Bible).

Having Done All...Stand!

As you put God's prescription for health to work in your life, don't be discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Although many times healing comes instantly, there also are times when it takes place more gradually.

So don't let lingering symptoms cause you to doubt. After all, when you go to the doctor, you don't always feel better right away. The medication he gives you often takes some time before it begins to work. But you don't allow the delay to discourage you. You just follow the doctor's orders and expect to feel better soon. Really you are "treating" your spirit that is the source of supernatural life and health for your physical body.

Release that same kind of confidence in God's medicine. Realize that the moment you begin to take it, the healing process begins. Keep your expectancy high and make up your mind to continue standing on the Word until you can see and feel the total physical effects of God's healing power.

When the devil whispers words of doubt and unbelief to you, when he suggests that the Word is not working, deal with those thoughts immediately. Cast them down (see II Corinthians 10:5). Speak out loud if necessary and say, "Devil, I rebuke you. I bind you from my mind. I will not believe your lies. God has sent His Word to heal me, and His Word never fails. That Word went to work in my body the instant I believed it, so as far as I am concerned, my days of sickness are over. I declare that Jesus bore my sickness, weakness and pain, and I am forever free."

Then, "having done all to stand, stand" until your healing is fully manifested (see Ephesians 6:12-14). Steadfastly hold your ground. Don't waver. For as James 1:6-8 says, "...He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.... Let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

Above all, keep your attention trained on the Word--not on lingering symptoms. Be like Abraham who "considered not his own body" (Romans 4:19). Instead of focusing on your circumstances, focus on what God has said to you.

Develop an inner image of yourself with your healing fully manifested. See yourself well. See yourself whole. See yourself healed in every way.

Since what you keep before your eyes and in your ears determines what you will believe in your heart and what you will act on, make the Word your number one priority. Keep taking God's medicine as directed and trust the Great Physician to do His wonderful healing work in you!

God's Prescription for Divine Health Pt. 4

by Gloria Copland

When you realize that God's Word is the force that originally brought into being everything you can see and touch--including your physical body--it's easy to believe that the Word is still capable of changing your body today. It makes perfect sense!

Faith in Two Places

"I'd have no problem at all believing God's Word would heal me if He'd speak to me out loud like He did in Genesis," you might say, "but He hasn't!"

No, and He probably won't either. God no longer has to thunder His Word down at us from heaven. These days He lives in the hearts of believers, so He speaks to us from the inside instead of the outside. What's more, when it comes to covenant issues like healing, we don't even have to wait on Him to speak.

He has already spoken!

He has already said, "...By [Jesus'] stripes ye were healed" (I Peter 2:24). He has already said, "...I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Exodus 15:26). He has already said, "The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up..." (James 5:15).

God has already done His part. So we must do ours. We must take the Word He has spoken, put it inside us and let it change us from the inside out.

You see, everything--including healing--starts inside you. Your future is literally stored up in your heart. As Jesus said, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things" (Matthew 12:35).

That means if you want external conditions to be better tomorrow, you'd better start changing your internal condition today. You'd better start taking the Word of God and depositing it in your heart just like you deposit money in the bank. Then you can make withdrawals on it whenever you need it. When sickness attacks your body, you can tap into the healing Word you've put inside you and run that sickness off!

Exactly how do you do that?

You open your mouth and speak--not words of sickness and disease, discouragment and despair, but words of healing and life, faith and hope. You follow the last step of God's divine prescription and "Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee" (verse 24). In short, you speak the Words of God and call yourself healed in Jesus' Name.

Initially, that may not be easy for you to do. But you must do it anyway because for the faith to work it must be in two places--in your heart and in your mouth. "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10).

God's Prescription for Divine Health Pt. 3

by Gloria Copeland

No doubt you do. But if you'll look back at God's prescription, you'll find it doesn't say anything about "knowing" the Bible. It says, attend to the Word.

When you attend to something, you give your attention to it. You make it top priority. You set aside other things so you can focus on it. When a nurse is attending to a patient, she constantly looks after him. She doesn't just leave him lying alone in his hospital room while she goes shopping. If someone asks her about her patient, she doesn't feel it's sufficient to say, "Oh, yes. I know him."

In the same way, if you're attending to the Word, you won't leave it lying unopened on the coffee table all day. You won't spend your day focusing your attention on other things.

On the contrary, you'll do what Proverbs 4 says to do. You'll continually incline your ear to God's Word.

Inclining your ear includes more than just putting your physical ears in a position to hear the Word being preached (although that, in itself, is very important). It also requires you to actively engage with God's Word, to believe it and obey it.

In fact, The Amplified Bible translates Proverbs 4:20, this way: "My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings." Submitting to the Word means making adjustments in your life. Say, for example, you hear the Word in Philippians 4:4 that you are to "rejoice in the Lord always." If you've been doing a lot of griping and complaining, you'll have to change in order to submit to that Word. You'll have to repent and alter your behavior.

Take as Directed

In addition to inclining your ear to the Word of God, the Proverbs 4 prescription also says you must keep it before your eyes and not let it depart from your sight. In Matthew 6:22-23, Jesus reveals why that's so important. He says, "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!"

Your eyes are the gateway to your body. If your eye (or your attention) is on the darkness, or the sickness that is in your body, there will be no light to expel it. If, however, the eyes of your heart are trained strictly on the Word, your whole body will eventually be filled with light, and healing will be the result.

Granted, it isn't easy to keep your attention centered on the Word like that. It takes real effort and commitment. It may require getting up a little earlier in the morning or turning off the television at night. But I urge you to do whatever it takes to take God's medicine exactly as directed.

It won't work any other way!

That really shouldn't be so surprising. After all, we wouldn't expect natural medication to work for us if we didn't take it as prescribed.

No rational person would set a bottle of pills on the night stand and expect those pills to heal them. No one would call the doctor and say, "Hey, doc! These pills don't work. I've carried them with me everywhere I go--I keep them in the car with me, I set them on my desk at work, I even have them next to me when I sleep at night--but I don't feel any better."

That would be ridiculous. Yet, spiritually speaking, some people do it all the time. They cry and pray and beg God to heal them, all the while ignoring the medicine He's provided. (They might take a quick dose on Sunday when they go to church, but the rest of the week they don't take time for the Word at all!)

Why do people who love God and believe the Bible act that way? I think it's because they don't understand how putting the Word in their heart can affect their physical bodies. They don't see how something spiritual can change something natural.

If you'll read the Bible, however, you'll see that spiritual power has been affecting this physical world ever since time began. In fact, it was spiritual power released in the form of God's Word that brought this natural world into existence in the first place.

God's Prescription for Divine Health Pt. 2

by Gloria Copeland

Powerful Medicine
To understand how this prescription works, you must realize that the Word of God is more than just good information. It actually has life in it. As Jesus said in John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth [or makes alive]; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."
Every time you take the Word into your heart, believe it and act on it, that life of which Jesus spoke, the very LIFE of God Himself, is released in you. You may have read the healing scriptures over and over again. You may know them as well as you know your own name. Yet every time you read them or hear them preached, they bring you a fresh dose of God's healing power. Each time, they bring life to you and deliver God's medicine to your flesh.
That's because the Word is like a seed. Hebrews 4:12 says it is "alive and full of power--making it active, operative, energizing and effective..." (The Amplified Bible). It actually carries within it the power to fulfill itself.
When you planted the Word about the new birth in your heart, then believed and acted on it, that Word released within you the power to be born again. By the same token, when you plant the Word about healing in your heart, believe and act on it, that Word will release God's healing power in you.
"But, Gloria," you may say, "I've met people who know the Bible from cover to cover and still can't get healed!"

God's Prescription for Divine Health Pt. 1

by Gloria Copeland

There is a medicine so powerful it can cure every sickness and disease known to man. It has no dangerous side effects. It is safe even in massive doses. And when taken daily according to directions, it can prevent illness altogether and keep you in vibrant health.

Does that sound too good to be true? It's not. I can testify to you by the Word of God and by my own experience that such a supernatural medicine exists. Even more importantly, it is available to you every moment of every day.

You don't have to call your doctor to get it. You don't even have to drive to the pharmacy. All you must do is reach for your Bible, open to Proverbs 4:20-24 and follow the instructions you find there:

"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health (Hebrew: medicine) to all their flesh.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee."

As simple as they might sound, those four verses contain the supernatural prescription to divine health. It's a powerful prescription that will work for anyone who will put it to work.

If you have received healing by the laying on of hands, following this prescription will help you maintain that healing. If you have believed for healing, but are experiencing lingering symptoms, it will help you stand strong until you are completely symptom-free. And if you are healthy now, it will help you stay that way--not just for a day or a week, but for the rest of your life!

How to Receive Healing Pt. 3

Have faith in the Name of Jesus.

Acts 3:6, 16; John 14:12-14; I John 3:23
Jesus’ Name carries all the authority of Jesus Himself. When Peter spoke in Jesus’ Name, it was as if Jesus were speaking. He didn’t pray for the man at the gate called Beautiful. He spoke words of faith—in Jesus’ Name. In the same way and with the same authority, you can speak to your affliction.

Partake of the Lord’s Supper.

Exodus 12:3-11; I Corinthians 11:23-30
This is a fundamental way to receive healing that has been overlooked by the Church in recent history. When you receive the body and the blood of our Lord Jesus, you should be keenly aware that you are standing on the Blood Covenant of the New Testament, and acting according to the Word of God.
As we remember the body and the blood, we should not only judge ourselves concerning sin, but we should judge ourselves concerning sickness as well. After all, Jesus paid a high price for both of them. By receiving Communion, we are partaking of everything Jesus’ sacrifice provided—salvation, peace, prosperity and healing.

Stand, knowing the New Testament is true.

I Peter 5:5-7; Romans 4:20-21
Accept the New Testament as absolute truth. Don’t be moved by how you feel. True humility as seen in the Bible means standing before God in obedience to His Word and casting ALL your care on Him. True Bible humility says, “I don’t look healed. I don’t feel healed,” but God’s Word says, ‘with His stripes we were healed,’ so I must be healed. I accept the Word rather than the circumstances.”

Call for the elders of the Church.

James 5:14
The elders or leaders in your church should be people of great faith, people who know how to pray the prayer of faith. There certainly is no certificate that can be handed out which automatically qualifies someone as an elder in the Body of Christ. So be sure that the church leaders who come to pray for you are well established in faith.

Pray the Prayer of Agreement or the Prayer of Binding and Loosing.

Matthew 16:17-19, 18:18-20
When two or three believers get together in Jesus’ Name, He is there too. And if they ask anything and agree in prayer, it is done.

Pray the Prayer of Faith.

John 16:23; Mark 11:24; James 5:15
A very simple form of prayer involves more than just praying, “Heal me, Father.” The proper way to pray in faith is, “Father, in Jesus’ Name, I ask You for a manifestation of my healing. I believe I receive it now and I thank You for it.”
Watch how you pray, that your attitudes are straight. Make a point of praying in faith, speaking right words in prayer. And remember to believe you receive when you pray.

Receive the laying on of hands.

There are two ways to receive the laying on of hands—where people of faith actually lay their hands on your body and believe you are healed as a result: 1) by any believer (Mark 16:15-20), and 2) by special ministries (I Corinthians 12; Hebrews 6:1-2).
Speak words of faith.
Proverbs 12:6, 13-14, 18:20-21; Mark 11:23, 5:22-28
This overlaps with number one. When you believe the Word for yourself, you will automatically speak words of faith. This involves more than just saying “I am healed” a couple of times. You have to dedicate yourself, your time and your efforts to receiving the very best God has to offer. Both Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood spoke the desired end result. They spoke faith-filled words—so can you.

How to Receive Healing Pt. 1

Kenneth Copeland

Since the days of the Old Testament, God has always wanted His people free from sickness and disease—cancer, arthritis, AIDS, heart trouble, even the common cold. And nothing more clearly reflects God’s will for our well-being than the earthly ministry of Jesus, who spent much of His time healing the sick.

That’s nice, you may be thinking, but that was 2,000 years ago. How do I get the “will of God” to manifest in my body today?

Well, first consider this: Believing that God can heal your body should be no different for you than believing He can forgive your sin. And yet, that truth becomes even more powerful when you realize that, not only can He forgive you and heal you—He already has!

God’s provision for the healing of your body and the forgiving of your sin are just two of the many benefits you received when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Your forgiveness and your healing were secured for you.

But while it is important to realize that healing indeed belongs to you as a believer, it is just as important to know how to apply God’s Word to your life so you can activate that healing…when you need it.

The following is a list of ways you can activate or implement the healing that already is yours. Study the scriptures listed and meditate on them. Then allow the Holy Spirit to reveal how you can apply them in your circumstances.

Believe the Word for Yourself.

Proverbs 4:20-23; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 13:15, 21:22
This is the highest form of faith. It may be difficult to believe God’s promises to you at first because the physical circumstances are probably screaming just the opposite of God’s Word at you. So train yourself to look at God’s Word, not at the evidence of your five physical senses. Hear the Word, receive it by faith, stand on it—you need no further evidence.

Four Steps That Ensure Victory

Kenneth Copeland

These are four steps that Brother Copeland learned from Kenneth Hagin that ensure victory. He has used and practiced them and they have brought victory over and over again in his life. They are in line with God's Word.

1. Make the decision: I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED, I WILL RECEIVE FROM GOD.
2. Resist Satan: REFUSE TO ENTERTAIN HIS THOUGHTS.
3. GIVE YOUR ATTENTION TO GOD’S WORD (Proverbs 4:20-22). Fix your mind on
God's Word (Joshua 1:8).
4. REFUSE TO SPEAK WORDS CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE
RECEIVED (Mark 11:23-24). Answer every doubt immediately with the Word of God.

Answer every symptom of sickness, unforgiveness, lack, strife, fear, etc. immediately with the Word of God.

WILL LIARS ENTER HEAVEN

LET THE WORD OF GOD SPEAK FOR HIMSELF.

  1. YOU HAVE ANOTHER FATHER (UNBELIEVERS)
    1. Jhn 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
    2. WHEN WE WERE IN THE WORLD SOME OF US OR SHALL I SAY MOST OF US ACT LIKE OUR OLD FATHER.
    3. WE NEVER HAVE BEEN FATHERLESS.
    4. WE MAY NOT HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED OUR FATHER BUT THE DEVIL WAS OUR FATHER.
    5. SO OUR FATHER WAS THE FATHER OF LIES.
    6. WHAT DOES CHILDREN DO, IMITATE THEIR PARENTS.
    7. THIS MAY BE A TOUGH PILL TO SWALLOW BUT LET GOD BE TRUE (Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar)

  1. Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    1. NOW THE FIRST DEATH IS THE PHYSICAL DEATH THE SECOND DEATH IS SPIRITUAL DEATH
    2. SEPARATION FROM GOD FOREVER.
    3. WATCH THAT TONGUE AND SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE. (Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] ChristJ
    4. CHILD OF GOD DON’T GIVE INTO THAT LYING SPIRIT, YOU HAVE BEEN DELIVERED BY THE POWER OF GOD.
