LIVING IN THE FAVOR GOD

I.                   Royal favor

1.      Proverbs 16:15  In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

A.    Life in the Old Testament that a natural king could give was only physical life. They couldn’t receive nor give Zoe life.

B.     John 10:10  (amp)

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

C.    Life meaning Zoe; of the absolute fulness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God, and through him both to the hypostatic "logos" and to Christ in whom the "logos" put on human nature

D.    Reap or Harvest – gather, collect, bring in, pick

2.      NOTE.—In Palestine the early rains prepare the soil for the seed sowing, and the latter rains ripen the grain for the harvest. So the early outpouring of the Spirit prepared the world for the extensive sowing of the gospel seed, and the final outpouring will come to ripen the golden grain for the harvest of the earth, which Christ says is "the end of the world."

3.      In the light of the king’s countenance is life.

As the king’s anger and the darkening of his countenance are death (verse 14), so, when his look is cheerful and bright, it sheds joy and life around, as the rain refreshes the parched ground.

4.      His favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

The former rain in Palestine falls about the end of October or the beginning of November, when the seed is sown; the latter rain comes in March or April, and is absolutely necessary for the due swelling and ripening of the grain. It is accompanied, of course) with cloud, which tempers the heat, while it brings fertility and vigor. To this the king’s favour is well compared

A.    favour- pleasure, delight, goodwill, acceptance

B.     How would you like to just reap pleasure, delight, favour, goodwill and acceptance?

C.    Psa 16:11

in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for    evermore.

D.  As believers our main focus is to stay in the light. To truly enjoy life, you must stay in the light.  God has everything we need, there is no need for us to lean to or rely upon the world’s way of doing things.  God has made away for each one of us, but it is going to take us being obedient to His word.  Let’s commit to live a life in the favour of God, Amen.

BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE

Believe That You Receive

Mark 11:24

For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].

  1. Every born again believer must believe before he receive from God. Not doubting or hoping you hit the lottery.  But asking in faith trusting God at His word that He will do exactly what His word says. So when we as believers come to God it must be in faith.

    1. Hebrews 11:6                                                                                                                  But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him.
    2. James 1:6                                                                                                                                                                             Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

  1. Faith has to be in your heart and mouth. To many believers think they can say one thing and believe something else.  Your words are in agreement with God or His (our) enemy at all times. (Mat 18:19 That if two of you shall agree). Agreement is powerful. So your heart and mouth has to say the same thing to see Gods promises come to pass in your life.  To be born again your heart and mouth (confession) had to be in agreement.

    1. Romans 10:8- 10 But what does it say? The Word (God's message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,9Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
    2. This is the foundation of receiving from God.  Everything else is built on this foundation that was laid.

  1. But didn’t Jesus pray if thou be willing, as if He didn’t know God’s will?
            Luke 22:42
"Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."

    1. Jesus knew it was the Father's will for Him to be made an offering for the sins of the world. He had prophesied His death and resurrection many times before. However He being human and aware of the suffering He would soon go through, Jesus was requesting God to accomplish His will some other way, but at the same time affirming His commitment to do His Father's will and not His own.

He was not at a loss to know God's will and therefore, left this time of prayer trusting that whatever the Father deemed best for Him would happen.

He knew when He began praying what the Father's will was and He knew at the close of His prayer, that God's will could not be accomplished any other way.

    1. John 6:39 [AMP]                                                                                                            And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

James 1:5 [NKJV]
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

     Eph. 5:17 [NKJV]
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

THREE TRAITS OF A SPIRIT-FILLED PERSON

three traits of a Spirit-filled person

I.                   Ephesians 5:19

1.  Now, note the three traits of a Spirit-filled person.

1.  A Spirit-filled person has a singing spirit. This is in contrast to the drunken person. The mention of singing is the picture of joy and happiness. The worldly person often seeks joy and happiness in drink and partying. This is not to be the case with the true believer. He is to seek his joy and happiness by being filled with the Spirit of God and by singing to himself. Note a crucial point: singing to oneself helps a person to experience the fulness of the Spirit. What do we sing? God tells us:

Þ  Psalms: the psalms of the Old Testament. We need to learn them—yes, by memory—so that we can sing them. Think how victoriously we could walk through life if we knew the Psalms.

Þ  Hymns: the great hymns of the church. Again we must learn them.

Þ  Spiritual Songs: F.F. Bruce suggests that these may refer to songs being made up by the person as he walks along singing praise to the Lord throughout the day (The Epistle to the Ephesians, p.111). We have all experienced walking along making melody in our hearts to the Lord; therefore, his suggestion makes sense.

Þ  It is certainly a good practice.

"What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also" (1 Cor. 14:15).

"Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob" (Psalm 81:1).

2.  A Spirit-filled person has a thankful spirit. Note the words "always" and "for all things." Our lives are in God's hands. He guides and directs us through all things. Therefore, we can thank Him for all things—no matter what the things are. He controls all. Giving thanks as we walk along throughout the day—always giving thanks—helps us to experience the fulness of God's Spirit.

"Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" (Phil. 4:6)."

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Col. 3:17).

3.  A Spirit-filled person has a submissive and respectful spirit. A Spirit-filled person does not have a spirit of criticism, dissension, envy, divisiveness, or selfishness. He has a spirit of submissiveness. The same is true of churches: a Spirit-filled church has a body of people who are submissive—going out of their way to minister and serve each other. There is no dissension or divisiveness, no envy or selfishness among its people. In the fear of God, they submit to each other before they break the fulness of God's Spirit.

"Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:4).

"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith"

Path of the Just (Faith)

Path of the Just  (Faith)

I.                   Proverbs 4:18 (KJV)
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day
1.      path of the just is as the shining light

A.    Just as the Good Sheppard goes before us, we should be leading others to follow Christ.  Our life style should be light into other peoples lives.
The words that we speak shoud bring life, hope, joy and peace.

       Job 41:32
       He maketh a path to shine after him;

B.     The path we walk on should be a path of victories and not defeats. We understand and know that as believers we are not exempt from attacks of the enemy, but we do know that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosperous (Isa 54:17).

C.     It doesn’t matter how long your life has been in this condition or how deep you are in it, God has a path that can bring you out and the enemy can not stop or hinder it.

      Isa 43:16
      Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the    mighty waters;

D.    We have to believe and receive this word right in the mist of what we are going through.  God is a faithful God.

       Psa 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

E.     The Word is the key.  Do not let anything keep you or stop you from studying the Word of God.  Let God’s Word have the final say so and watch God flood your heart and mind with peace in the mist of trials.
Remember this is that peace that transcends all our natural understanding, it has be believed and received by faith, then comes the manifestation.

James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

      Isa 26:3
Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

F.    The bible says; where there is confusion there is every evil work.

Jam 3:16
For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.

For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

It doesn't matter where you are in Christ, His peace is there with you right now. Don't you sense His peace conforting you and giving you hope in the mist of a not so good situation.
Before we can receive instructions there has to be peace within us.
Now that peace is here I can listen to the Lord teach and instruct me in the way to go.  Why???

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

God will make it so plain you will have to pay somebody to miss it.

Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Plain meaning simple, clear, basic and odvious.

God is not worried about your enemies, neither should you.  They are only pieces that God is using so His will can be perfected in your life.

G.    Psa 119:105
Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The Word of God has everything in it that you and I need to live  a victorious life. Follow the word and live a long and prosperous life. Said the Lord.

       In Jesus Name.

He Restoreth Our Souls

I.          Psalms 23:3(KJV)
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake

1.      He restoreth my soul:

A.    The Lord is here to restore our lives.  He’s here to bring us back into right relationship with him. He is the Father of all spirits.

Hebrews 12:9  AMP                                                                           Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them] and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?

B.     If you can understand that please don’t harden your heart in the day of provocation (strife, contention)

      Psa 95:8
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

C.     Look what he says here;

Jhn 16:33                                                                                               In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

D.    So if I am in Him and He is in me then I have overcome the world, as long as I stay in Him.  Here’s the word on it;

      Act 17:28
      For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

2.      he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake

A.    How marvelous then for us whom Scripture sees as sheep that God presents Himself as our shepherd. He leads us, protects us, and because He is always with us, we fear no evil.

B.     He didn’t say I will send Moses, Peter or John but He will lead us.

C.     We know that God has Pastors that are after His own heart;

        Jer 3:15
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding

D.    Knowledge and understanding of  God’s word, God’s purpose, God’s vision and God’s will. If anyone is leading you contrary to God's word don't walk run, flee, get away, because they are not sent by God. Stay in the word and the word will stay in you.

E.     Hbr 13:5
for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

F.      God is omnipresent, He is always there even if we acknowledge Him or not.

G.    The path of righteousness is just being a doer of the word and not a hearer only.

H.    The word has already made a path for you now its up to us to follow that path.

I.       Let’s uphold the blood stain banner, which is His name.

J.       Follow that inward witness today, allow yourself to be lead by the Spirit of God this day.  Amen

Trusting The Lord For Direction PT. 2

Trusting The Lord For Direction
PT. 2
Practical Guide To Christian Financial Freedom
Teach Your Children Well: A Christian Guide
I.                   John 10:3-4 New Translation (NLT)

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.

1.      Gatekeeper

A.  At night sheep were kept in an enclosure with a single opening, the gate. The shepherd slept in the doorway so that no wild beast could attack, except over his own body. Jesus as the “Gate for the sheep” interposes His own body between us and sin and Satan. He actually gave His life that we might have life. He truly is the Good Shepherd.

2.      sheep  recognize his voice

A.    John 4:24 God is a Spirit, John 6:63 the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

B.     I believe its safe to say that God’s word brings life not death or condemnation.

C.     John 3:17 (amp)  For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

D.    If the voice you have been hearing is rejecting, condemning or has passed sentence on you.  It is not the voice of God. Turn and go in the other direction and please do not walk, run.

E.     Proverbs 24:16  For a just [man] falleth seven times, and riseth up again:

                  3.      He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

A.    How does God call us? With a holy calling.

B.      2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling

C.      Its time to come out from among them.

D.    Whatever is not of God its time to let it go.

E.     The work God has for you, your hands must be clean.

4.      He walks ahead of them

A.    He calls us out then goes before us to make sure we have everything we need to get the job done,

B.     Protection, financing, relationships, favor ect……

5.      They follow him, why? They know His voice.

A.    1Cr 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

B.     It’s time to follow him into new victories,

C.     I have worked with you all these years to get you into this position, for such a time as this.  Now the work of the Lord begins, said the Lord.

TRUSTING THE LORD FOR DIRECTION

Trusting The Lord For Direction

I.                   Psalm 32:8  Amplified Bible (AMP)

I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

1.      Wait a minute now; he didn’t say the psychiatrist, the counselor, the Doctor, or the friend.

2.      I am not saying the Lord doesn’t use them but He should have the finale say so about everything.

3.      The Lord Himself will direct.

4.      How??  Through instructions and teachings.

5.      Why?? We can miss it. I know you think you are all that but let me tell you that you can miss it.

6.      My old Pastor would say, “A coke and a bag of chips.”

7.      Have you heard the song by Minister Donald Lawrence; (We are a spiritual being having a natural experience.) There are so much that tries and sometimes hinders us from hearing from God precisely.

8.      Remember when Elijah was on the mountain trying to hear from God. Once things got quiet he was able to hear from the Lord.

a.       1Ki 19:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

9.      Did you notice the Lord was there the hold time but He didn't speak until He was ready? What if Elijah had move after the rocks broke or earthquake or fire, how many of you know that he would have missed God?

10.  If the enemy can’t stop you he will try to get you to move ahead of God.

11.  The noise could be a number of things job, relationships, economy ect….

12.  Stay persistence the Lord sees and knows all

II.                Psa 34:15  Amplified Bible (AMP)

The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry.

1.      To me uncompromisingly means don’t give up.

2.      Keep your business right before the Lord.

3.      Keep living Holy. If you make a mistake repent and get back on the horse.

4.      God is watching you and listening to everything that concerns you child of the Most Highest.

III.             Isaiah 40:31 Amplified Bible (AMP)

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

1.      Expect Him any minute to do exactly what you believe for.

2.      Remember that God is bound by His word, so make sure this is in His will for you.

3.      Hebrews 11:6   But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

a.       Watch this, waiting is seeking.

b.      God can not lie and His word is true.

c.       Get quite now I believe your word is here, listen to the voice of God.

WHAT IS HOLDING YOUR PRAYERS UP

what is holding your prayers up
In these last days judgement is being executed expediently. The Bible let us know that as time draws nearer for Christ return that time speeds up. So now judgement is being executed sooner. The years, months, weeks and days are shorter now.
If you look at that from the Christian perspective it shouldn’t take as long getting an answer from God.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Amos 9:13
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed;
The plowman . . . sows seed: The blessings will be so great that Amos compares them to land producing so quickly and so richly that it is difficult to finish one cycle before the next cycle begins[1]
What you have been praying for, will be answered before you are even out of your prayer closet.
Can you see that, by the time you ask God for the next request the 1st is already answered?
Glory to God
Don’t forget your hearing and doing always determine your harvest.
Matt.4:20
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive [it], and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
THE WORD IS THE SEED BEING SOWN IN OBEDIENT HEARTS  WILL PRODUCE A HARVEST.
Too many believers are looking at others and not examining their own lives, to determine why they have not received from God.
Our minds have been contaminated with this world system and its belief, that is hindering believers from receiving from God.
HERE IT IS CHURCH THE REASON WE ARE NOT TAKING THE LAND THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US, OUR MIND HAS BEEN CONDITION TO LIVE UNDER THAT OLD SYSTEM IN EGYPT.

COMING OUT OF EGYPT DIDN'T COST YOU BUT A DECISION.
TO LIVE IN THE PROMISES THAT GODS WORD SAYS YOU CAN HAVE, IS GOING TO COST YOU THAT OLD MIND.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOOD  AND EVER LASTING SUCCESS.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Let’s get it right so God can do great, mighty things through and for us Church.
