Change Your Thoughts Change Your Destiny

Foundational Scripture:

I.  Proverbs 23:7a

    For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

1. If you are not satisfied with your life change your thoughts, and then your life will change.
2. Some people try positive thinking without the Word of God and that is relying on your on ability.
1. Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
3. He is the very source of our life.
1. Acts 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

II.  Matt. 5:28

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

looketh meaning to continue to look upon

1. What you focus your attention and think on you will eventually do.
2. It’s called meditation
1. Jos 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
2. Psa 1:2-3  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4.  Mediating in God’s Word changes your thoughts, which will change your destiny
