Let’s see how the Word has been at work all the time.

I.                  Let’s see how the Word has been at work all the time.

1.           God said and He saw what He said.

2.           Genesis 1:1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

3.           God said words. God said and the word went to work on what God said.

4.           John 1:1-4 1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God
and the Word was God. 2 The Word was with God in the beginning.
3 Everything came into being through the Word, and without the Word
nothing came into being. What came into being 4 through the Word was life,  and the life was the light for all people

a.       There is no life outside the Word of God. Ther is no light or revelation, but there is darkness outside of God.

b.      We need to be tired of living in the dark.

God Sent His Word to Heal the Land

God Sent His Word to Heal the Land

Intro:  God’s Word is all we need today for a successful life.  I said today because He is I am, not I was or I will be.  But He is I am in the presentence.  If you do not believe in the now you will never have I am relationship that you as a Christian desires.  The promise was made to all Abraham seed by faith.

  1. Romans 4:16  Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
  2. Therefore of faith, that by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed
  3. What is the promise?  Romans 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world
  4. Heir - in Messianic usage, one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship
  5. John 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
  6. Promise _  a promised good or blessing
  7. This is the blessings of Abraham our natural blessing.
  8. Abraham believed what was spoken to him. He believe the Gen 12:1  Now the LORD had said unto Abram:   Gen. 12:4  So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him:
  9. Jesus had not come in a physical form upon the earth yet.
  10. Just as it is now Jesus is not in a physical form upon the earth. Where is He? Col. 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

SEEK THE LORD IN ALL YOU DO

Intro:  So many people are seeking everything but the Lord. In times such as these people need to know there is still a God in Israel and his name is Jesus.  Jesus is the only way through what ever is trying to stop you from enjoying life.  Less look at some scriptures that will back this up.

I.                   Seeking God will make you prosper.

1.      2 Chro 26:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)

He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the things of God; and as long as he sought (inquired of, yearned for) the Lord, God made him prosper.

2.      What the word of God is saying, as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper. Not his boss, wife or friend but the Lord. Who or what have you been seeking trying to prosper? What have you had to give up or do to prosper? When all you had to do was seek the Lord’s way and He would have made you prosper.

3.      Don’t go here: Proverbs 10:22 Amplified Bible (AMP)

22The blessing of the Lord--it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].

4.      Just like Bernie Mac use to say: Who you with.

II.                True prosperity will not spoil you.

1.       Proverbs 16:3  Amplified Bible (AMP)

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed

2.      Go with the flow; don’t aloud wrong thinking to stop you from flowing with God.  He loves us and only wants the best for each of His children.

3.      God desire is to prosper you in every area of your life. You have to not only work on your job but you have to work on your relationship with your wife, children and friends.

III.             Don’t rebel against what God is doing for your life.

1.      Proverbs 16:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)

A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.

2.      Rms. 8:14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

3.      We are spiritual beings and God is a Spirit, so we have to allow ourselves to be lead by our spirit.

4.      God speaks to our spirit and then it comes to our mind. Please don’t let your mind override what your spirit is saying or leading you to do.

The Important of Your Dream

1.  Proverbs 16:26

A worker’s appetite works for him, For his hunger urges him on.

a.       He knows that if he doesn’t work, he won’t collect his paycheck, and without money he can’t go to the supermarket to buy food. So if he is ever tempted to stop working, his appetite urges him on.

b.      Your appetite to see the will of God fulfilled in your life is what drives you as a man hunger for food.

c.       There is nothing in this world that can be compared to the satisfaction of fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.

d.      Pro 29:18

Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]--blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.

e.       Your purpose is revealed through you relationship with God.

f.       It’s not a purpose that has to be created, He created it before the foundation of the world, and you have to allow Him to reveal it to you.

g.      God is not a Law breaker, but He will not go against His word.

h.      No matter what law man has put in place, if it is contrary to God’s Word it is not a law to be followed.

i.        That man made law will take you out of your purpose and relationship with God.  Why?  Because He is not in or apart of it.

j.        You can not follow God’s will without knowing His purpose for you.  There will always be an appetite that is not being filled.

k.      Allow God to reveal His plan and purpose for your like.

l.        Romans 18:28

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

Settle it

                  1.      Comimit Yourself!  Dream – Vission – Purpose

2.      1 Kings 19:19-21

19So Elijah left there and found Elisha son of Shaphat, whose plowing was being done with twelve yoke of oxen, and he drove the twelfth. Elijah crossed over to him and cast his mantle upon him.

20He left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, Let me kiss my father and mother, and then I will follow you. And he [testing Elisha] said, Go on back. What have I done to you? [Settle it for yourself.]

21So Elisha went back from him. Then he took a yoke of oxen, slew them, boiled their flesh with the oxen's yoke [as fuel], and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, followed Elijah, and served him.

3.      yoke of oxen; he took two oxen and slew them; then he cooked them with the yoke that was around their neck

4.      symbolizing he was not going back that it is settle, I am going with Elisha.

5.      We as belivers have to stettle it with in our on heart that we are going to believe God’s Word and let it have the finale say so about everything that involves us.

6.      If God said it, that settles it.

7.      Now set back and watch God bring to pass what His Word says.

Possessing Your Promise Land

I.                   God has a Plan &  Purpose for your Life

1.      Jere. 29:11

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

2.      Eph. 4:11

THEREFORE, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the [divine] calling to which you have been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's service,

II.                God wants you to know it

1.      Jere.  33:3

Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).

2.      Col. 1:9-10

For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things--10That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].

3.      Is. 30:21

And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.

4.      Eph. 5:15-17

15Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people),

16Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.

17Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.

III.             Your strongest talents & abilities reveal God’s design for your life

1.      Rom. 12:6-8

      6Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith;

7[He whose gift is] practical service, let him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching;

8He who exhorts (encourages), to his exhortation; he who contributes, let him do it in simplicity and liberality; he who gives aid and superintends, with zeal and singleness of mind; he who does acts of mercy, with genuine cheerfulness and joyful eagerness.

2.      Ex.  31:1-5

1AND THE Lord said to Moses,

2See, I have called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

3And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and ability, in understanding and intelligence, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

4To devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze,

5And in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship.

3.      Eph. 2:10

10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

4.      Ps. 20:4

4May He grant you according to your heart's desire and fulfill all your   plans.
